The residence permit for Afghans in Albania is extended (DECISION)

The Council of Ministers made the decision this Wednesday to extend the residence permit for Afghans by another 6 months, until August 2023.

“Një ndryshim në vendimin nr.501, datë 25.8.2021, të këshillit të ministrave, 'për dhënien e mbrojtjes së përkohshme shtetasve afganë dhe personave pa shtetësi, me vendqëndrim të përkohshëm ose të përhershëm në republikën islamike të afganistanit, dhe për krijimin e task-forcës për menaxhimin e fluksit të kërkuesve të mbrojtjes ndërkombëtare', të ndryshuar. Në pikën 2/1, togfjalëshi '…dhe me 6 (gjashtë) muaj të tjerë…', zëvendësohet me '… deri më 24.8.2023…', thuhet në vendimin e qeverisë.

Ndërkohë është marrë vendimi edhe për shtetasit ukrainas, ku qeveria shqiptare ka vendosur për të shtyrë lejen e qëndrimit për ta deri në 17 shtator 2023. 

Shqipëria ka qenë ndër vendet e para që u angazhua për të strehuar qytetarët afganë të cilët u larguan nga vendi i tyre, pasi u kërcënohej jeta nga talebanët që morën pushtetin.
