Zai Fundo, an opponent of Stalinism who deserves respect!

Zai Fundo

These days, a bust of Zai Fundo, the first opponent in Europe against the Stalinist doctrine, was placed in Korça! Why so late in honoring him? An excellent intellectual who graduated from the Sorbonne, a patriot who loved his place in Europe, an anti-fascist from the first hours, who was exiled by fascism with hundreds of Zogist families to the island of Ventotene in Italy.

The Dibra writer and scholar Xhaferr Martini writes in his biographical book about the figure of Halil Ali of Dibra: Seit Kryeziu, Zai Fundo and Halil Alia studied in Moscow and saw what Stalinist communism was and they left Moscow only to escape the persecution of the criminal Stalin!

Stalin and his crimes were condemned in 1956, by Europe and Khrushchev himself, the leader of the Soviet Union. The only country in Europe that did not condemn Stalin was the dictator Enver Hoxha, and he committed crimes in Albania like Stalin in the Soviet Union!

The bust of Zai Fundo cannot rest in peace when his homeland has not condemned the last Stalinist of Europe, Enver Hoxha! What Stalin did against Zai Fundo, the Albanian Stalinist Enver Hoxha did!

Zai Fundo in Italy, exiled by fascism, there was no communist of Enver Hoxha in exile! Albanian historiography follows and honors the dates of Albanian Stalinism, such as November 29, 1944, which killed Zai Fundo, and honors it as "Liberation" day, when that day is the day of the Albanian Stalinist occupation!

Heroes cannot be honored without legally condemning the Stalinist doctrine that is still manifested today in Albanian politics! The political power in Albania manifests every manifestation of hatred that has been hidden since World War II! As US President Donald Trump teaches us, who proclaimed "Anti-Communist Week" in America.
