Researcher Niko Kotherja spoke in a television appearance about the placement of the bust of the intellectual Llazar Zai Fundo in Korça.

" I think that Korça owed a debt not only to Fundo as Llazar, but also to his family. I was lucky enough to live with this family, since my apartment is located near the Fundo family house, which is not simply a cultural monument in terms of the time it was built, but also for the historical moments that have passed there. In one of the rooms of this family, Fan Noli stayed in 1923. Other prominent figures in the exact sciences have also come from that house. With the installation of the bust of Zai Fundo, a tribute is paid not only to his figure, but also to the Fundo family, from Voskopoja, but who settled in Korça early on.
