Flag Day Reception Ceremony/ Begaj: Wherever Albanians live today is a

President Bajram Begaj held a Flag Day reception ceremony at the Brigades Palace this evening. Begaj delivered the opening speech at the ceremony, where he stated that Albania today is a country that contributes to peace and security, while adding that it also remains reliable for Euro-Atlantic allies. 

The President emphasized that today is a day of celebration wherever Albanians live and expressed that every achievement of Kosovo and the Albanian communities in the region is a source of pride.

"It is our heart that beats far away, our duty as a state is to listen to them, to include them and to create real spaces for their participation. Independence is measured by the quality of public services, by functional justice, by the opportunity we offer to young people and by the love for the homeland. These are the challenges that unite us – regardless of our political beliefs. Today's world is changing rapidly, the global architecture is being reshaped. In these times of transformations and upheavals, we need clear determination and vision. The year 2025 found us in a dynamic environment. Today's challenge is composed under the motto of this summit, New Europe, New World. Albania has gained credibility as a country that contributes to peace, security and dialogue. Albania remains reliable for our Euro-Atlantic allies. We are proud of the connection with the United States of America. Our destinies were divided against our will, today the fate of Albania and Kosovo and all Albanians in the region is in our hands. Every achievement of Kosovo and the Albanian communities in the region is a source of pride for us. Today everywhere "Where Albanians live is a day of celebration. It is time to be together, to support the development of Albanian communities and to work so that every Albanian inside and outside the country feels part of a nation that moves forward," Begaj said during his speech. /CNA
