The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, has held a conversation with all representatives of Albania in missions abroad.

During the conversation, Pelesi also spoke about the situation in the North of Kosovo, where he emphasized that the tension has increased.

The minister underlined that all the phenomena that seek to create instability in the region are a derivative of what happened in February of this year in Ukraine.

"Recently, the tension has increased. You are part of KFOR, the NATO structure that guarantees security. All the phenomena that seek to create instability in the region are a derivative of what happened in February of this year in Ukraine and continues to be one of the main concerns of the world today. This event put before us tasks, which we had not thought of in such a close time, regarding modernization, regarding investments in education, in increasing our presence in international missions, that is, in building a stronger Armed Force, more capable and more hopeful for all our compatriots in Albania, but also in the region, to guarantee peace and security in the Balkans and in the entire space of the NATO Alliance", emphasized Minister Peleshi./ CNA.al
