A fox shark ended up in the nets of fishermen in Saranda today.

Two fishermen managed to catch a shark, from their nets which they had released the day before in the place called Pogajet.

They were hoping to end this year with prosperity, and that's what happened. As they were pulling the nets out of the water, they had felt that something unusual was coming out of the sea.

And so they had continued to pull out the net.

When they pulled the nets ashore, they saw a giant fish, which was 1.5 meters long and weighed 1.5 kilos.

This fish is known differently as Apepu (fox shark, but it is eaten), but it is not the first time that such a fish has been caught.

The thresher shark has a long tail, which it uses as a whip to strike its prey, while to feed, it feeds while swimming. /CNA.al
