Tensions in the protest/ Këlliçi: Violence does not prolong the stay

DP MP Belind Këlliçi has reacted on social media regarding the clashes recorded in today's protest in front of Parliament.

Këlliçi writes that the police's behavior towards protesters is an "ugly" scene that is the author of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

He further states that Rama, whom he refers to as "the most corrupt prime minister in Europe," refuses to listen to the voice of citizens who want his removal.

Këlliçi emphasizes that violence does not keep you in power, but only increases the anger and revolt of citizens.

Full reaction:

The brutal violence of the Police today against those protesting against corruption is Edi Rama's last hope to maintain power!!!

Dozens of police officers rushing at young people, whose only weapons are megaphones and banners, is an ugliness that is the work of Edi Rama.

The most corrupt prime minister in Europe refuses to listen to the voices of the people demanding his removal.

He will not be able to prolong his stay in office with violence. It will only increase the anger and revolt of the citizens. More tonight! /CNA
