The 2025 Matura exams start on Tuesday/ Details for secondary education subjects

Tuesday marks the start of the State Matura exams for 2025, for students attending general and vocational secondary education.

The organization and conduct of the State Matura exams is determined by dividing them into dates.

The main exams, including Foreign Language, Albanian Language and Literature, Mathematics and the Multiple Choice Exam, will be held from June 3 to 24. Foreign Language will be held on June 3, Albanian Language and Literature on June 10, Mathematics on June 17, and the Multiple Choice Exam on June 24.

The elective exam offers a wide range of subjects, including:

Natural Sciences: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Social Sciences: History, Geography, Civics and Psychology, Philosophy and Sociology and Economics and Arts: Economics, Art History, Music History, Ballet History

All exams will begin at 10:00 AM and will last 2 hours and 30 minutes.

To orient and prepare high school graduates, model tests for the upcoming exams have been distributed well in advance to all schools, orienting students to the format and requirements of the exams so that they are as well prepared as possible for the Matura exams.

The process of designing, administering and evaluating the tests will be carried out by the Educational Services Center (ESC), ensuring the highest standards of transparency and correctness. /CNA
