The lawyer of the former secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Alqi Bllakos, Sokol Hazizaj spoke to the media after SPAK gave the claim to the accused in the Fier incinerator affair.

Hazizaj has stated that the charges against Bllakos are unjust and not referred to criminal acts and the court should take a simple stance.

According to the lawyer, it is only an accusation of misuse of duty against Bllakos, while he attacked the Special Prosecutor's Office, saying that it is not acting in accordance with the code of criminal procedure.

 "We have always declared in front of the court that the accusations were unfair and not related to criminal acts, but they were suspicions. We stand by the same thing as in the previous session. The court should take a simple stance. As long as the prosecution sticks to the same accusation, it should dismiss the case. So it is only the accusation of abuse of office. This is an illegal position, not in accordance with the code, but it is unconstitutional. SPAK acts not in accordance with the code of criminal procedure, but harms the interests of citizens", he said./ CNA
