Begaj convenes the Security Council/ Details are revealed

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has decided the meeting of the National Security Council, on June 13, 2023 at 12:00, in the hall of the National Security Council, in the Institution of the President of the Republic

"The state of cyber security and the measures taken to strengthen cyber defense in the Republic of Albania", will be the topic that will be discussed at the meeting.

The convocation of the meeting of the National Security Council aims to analyze the current state of cyber security, the challenges and threats we face in this regard. The responsible institutions will inform the National Security Council about the measures taken to strengthen cyber defense in implementation of the recommendations given by the meeting of the National Security Council, in the months of October 2022 and January 2023.

Participants in this meeting will be:

1. The Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, Sh.S. Mrs. Lindita NIKOLLA

2. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Sh.T. Mr. Edi RAMA

3. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Mrs. Belinda BALLUKU

4. Minister of Defense, Mr. Niko PELESHI

5. Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Olta XHAÇKA

6. Minister of Justice, Mr. Ulsi MANJA

7. Minister of the Interior, Mr. Blediar CUÇI

8. Minister of Finance and Economy, Mrs. Delina IBRAHIMI

9. Chairman of the Parliamentary Security Committee, Mr. Nasip NAÇO

10. Chief of General Staff of FARSH, Brigadier General Arben KINGJI

11. General Director of the State Police, Major Muhamet RRUMBULLAKU

12. Director of the State Information Service, Ms. Vlora HYSENI
