Today, the citizens, the opposition and the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater will hold the 11th protest in front of the Tirana City Hall.

The citizens will gather again to demand the resignation of the mayor Erion Veliaj and his confrontation with justice.

The protest will start at 11:00 and it is expected that the participation will be massive as in the past protests.

The political leader of the DP for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, warned on Sunday that he will reveal other facts about the directors of the Municipality of Tirana and the mayor Erion Veliaj, during this protest.

The police have taken measures for the smooth progress of the protest. On the other hand, the citizens have warned that they will not stop until the departure of Veliaj.

The protests started after the scandal that gripped the municipality, where most of the directors ended up in prison due to tender abuses. We recall that a few days ago, the mayor of Tirana was questioned by SPAK./  CNA
