This Friday, December 8, 2023, the Socialist Party will hold the National Congress of the Socialist Party.
The most important figures of the Socialist Party will keep their word in this Congress.
It has been rumored several times that in Congress, the head of the SP, Edi Rama, will announce government changes, but such a thing was denied by Rama in an interview given 2 days ago.
The Secretary of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, has stated that it will be an extraordinary Congress.
"It is an extraordinary Congress for the situation we are in and to prepare ourselves to win the 2025 elections. We are to win, we are a great political force, we have responsibilities and we are a political school. If they want to understand how politics is done, to see how SP is organized, how it stands in the competition" , said Klosi.
While the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Bledi Çuçi, said that the extraordinary thing is that it is neither elective nor routine.
"The extraordinary thing is that it is neither elective nor routine. It is a congress that is held to make a summary, to reflect on the things that we should do better and to define our vision for Albania in 2030", said Çuçi./ CNA
