Trouble at the KLP meeting for Alfred Balla's mandate
Debates continue in the High Council for the Prosecuti...

The member of the High Prosecution Council, Sokol Stojani, has categorically asked to dismiss the head of the KLP, Alfred Balla.
Stojani said that the KPA's decision to exclude Balla from the justice system for 15 years should not be questioned.
He emphasized that the mandate of the head of the KLP should be terminated, mentioning to his colleagues the limits set by the Constitution.
"The constitution says that the decision must be executed immediately and every claim goes to Strasbourg. This person cannot exercise these functions for as long as he has been banned from exercising these functions. Today, if he were a good citizen, would the Assembly elect him or any other authority that could appoint him to this position? He could not set it! Then how can we keep him in office?! The decision of the KPA cannot be questioned. We do not have the authority. We have our limits and our limits are provided by law. The highest law that the state has is the Constitution. The constitution provides for these things that I said. The continuation of this mandate must be interrupted", underlined the member of the KLP./ CNA
