The American media continues to shed light on the McGonigal scandal.

A few days ago, the "Washington Post" published an article in which it is written that Prime Minister Edi Rama has not only corrupted the former senior FBI official, Charles McGonigal.

The article stated that other agents such as Mark Rossini and Lou Bladel, who held McGonigal's post before he took office, were also involved in this affair.

According to the High State Control, Bladel received a large contract of 375 thousand euros from the government of Edi Rama.

Journalist Sokol Balla has confirmed the use of Bladel by the prime minister through a post on Twitter since October 2018, Balla wrote that Bladel is the man who is investigating corruption files and accusations of the opposition.

"Sources: former FBI agent Lou Bladel who wiretapped David Petraeus and Edward Snowden, heads investigative team investigating corruption files and opposition allegations," his post read.

In the investigative file for Charles McGonigal, it is said that he met at least 4 times with Rama and the latter met in the US with McGonigal. On one occasion he had dinner in New York and on the other occasion in Washington.
