The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, reacted after the request of 28 deputies of the Democratic Party for her dismissal.

She said that their request has dishonest intentions and that the MPs have defamed a fake cause.

According to her, the request belongs to the deputies and is based on their beliefs and not on facts.

"I do not prejudice this request of the Democratic Party. This request is not what the Assembly of Albania needs. The request has a purpose but does not have a cause. Has dishonest intentions, slanders a fake cause. You base your claim on your beliefs rather than facts. I will withdraw from the mission to extend the parliamentary sessions" , she said. / CNA.al
