After the opposition's denunciations of the connections with Rama and a number of politicians and businessmen, another deed of the former FBI official was recently discovered.

According to the newspaper "Tema", McGonigal influenced the removal of the license of the ex-husband of the democratic deputy, Albana Vokshi, who represented the Russian oligarch Robert Noëikovsky.

Në artikkullin e kësaj medie thuhet se ish-zyrtari i FBI-së, i ka kërkuar kryeministrit Edi Rama në vjeshtën e vitit 2017 të pezullonte kërkesën e kompanisë “Jurimex”, pronë e oligarkut rus Robert Noëikovsky , i lidhur ngushtë me Putinin.
