Three judges have submitted candidacies for the race for the new head of the Constitutional Court.

The deadline for applications has ended today and three members of the Constitutional Court showed interest.

It is about judges Fiona Papajorgji, Marjana Semini and Holta Zaçaj.

The meeting of the Judges of the Constitutional Court, in the framework of the procedure for the election of the President of the Constitutional Court, convened today, on February 2, 2023, and concluded the deadline for applications. 3 judges have expressed interest in this position, listed below, in alphabetical order, based on last name:

2. Marjana Semini

3. Holta Zacaj

Also, the Meeting of Judges, based on legal provisions, has decided to hold its next meeting, on February 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., to listen to the platforms and vision of each candidate, to continue with the procedures of voting for the election of the President of the Constitutional Court./ BA - CNA.al
