The member of the DP National Council, Fjoralba Dizdari, reacted after the publication of a photo with McGonigal.

Dizdari clarified the circumstances when the photo was taken with the former FBI agent.

"For the clarification of public opinion, this photo is dated November 16, 5 years ago, where my ex-partner and I were having dinner for my birthday.

Next to our table was a friend of ours with his partner, who joined us in the evening.

At the end of the dinner, through an acquaintance of ours, both couples invited us for a drink and there we were introduced to the foreign official.

Tavolinës i’u shtuan zyrtarë të Partisë Socialiste dhe ne nuk ndejtëm gjatë dhe u larguam. Ka qënë hera e parë dhe e fundit që unë jam takuar me këtë njeri, ndryshe nga zyrtarë të lartë të qeverisë Rama”, sqaron Dizdari në rrjetet sociale.

Ajo mohon të ketë qenë e përfshirë asnjëherë në interesa financiare me personat në fjalë, as si shtetase shqiptare, as si pjesë e Partisë Demokratike dhe asnjë aludim i këtij lloji.

Dizdari është shprehur me tone të ashpra ndaj Top Channel, media e e cila ka publikuar foton.

"Government propaganda and games cannot erase their affairs with news like today's, or a random photo, for which, being part of the media for years, I cannot understand how a media agrees to be used as a measure of the government, to fade corrupt affairs and to relativize the inevitable reversal of power, with such news.

These manipulations simply confirm the fear of the people involved in the accusations of the last few days and make my political mission even more determined", writes Dizdari. /CNA.al
