Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has spoken about the "Fijet" police operation, related to the dismantling of cameras in cities.

Invited to 'Breaking', Karamuço said that hundreds of cameras monitored by criminal elements have been seized and removed.

The expert reveals that this operation is being developed with the cooperation of the State Police and the German authorities.

“Kjo është në strategji që është punuar prej dy vitesh me asistencë të policisë gjermane të cilët kanë ardhur në fund të vitit të kaluar. Kanë sjellë një dokument për të forcuar policinë kriminale dhe për të dobësuar krimin në vend. Ky aksion ka patur ndërmend të fillonte në janar. Një nga analizat që kanë bërë gjermanët ka qenë dhe fakti që krimi është forcuar shumë edhe në sistemet tekonlogjike, si kamera etj”, tha Karamuço.

Karamuço shtoi më tej se kamerat nuk janë përdorur vetëm për tu mbrojtur nga rivalët apo për të pikasur dhe policinë, por janë përdorur dhe për të kryer atentate.

Because a mistake was made in this operation, which should have been at once. These operations must be well thought out and get to the bottom of things. Many of these cameras have been removed and the owners are unknown, on the other hand, the removal of these cameras was done by officers who were not trained for this. It has been verified that centers like Shkodra have had several operating rooms to identify suspicious and unknown persons in the neighborhood. Interviews were even conducted, why did you enter, where are you going..." - added the expert Ervin Karamuço./ CNA.al
