The judge, Elona Toro, is confirmed in office

Judge Elona Toro has been confirmed in office.

After the appeal of the Public Commissioner against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission, the judicial body has decided to uphold the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission, confirming Elona Toro in office.

The panel of judges of the Special Board of Appeal, consisting of Sokol Çomo chairman, Ina Rama relator, Albana Shtylla, Mimoza Tasi, Rezarta Schuetz members, announced the decision on the case (JR) no. 47/2020, dated 22.10.2020, concerning the appeal of the Public Commissioner against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission no. 264, dated 17.06.2020, related to the subject of the revaluation Elona Toro.

At the end of the trial, the panel of judges, based on Article 66, point 1, letter "a" of Law No. 84/2016, "On the temporary reassessment of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania", unanimously decided:

1. The enforcement of decision no. 264, dated 17.06.2020 of the Independent Qualification Commission and the confirmation in office of the subject of the reassessment Elona Toro.

2. This decision is final and has immediate effect.
