On Wednesday, the Special Court postponed the hearing for "Gërdec" again, while this time the reason for the postponement was the absence of one of the experts, Ymer Stafa.

It is reported that in today's session, the former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, is not present, as well as his defense lawyer, Ardian Visha. Only lawyer Henrik Ligori was present.

Prosecutor Klodian Braho asked to continue the session in Mediu's absence, the request was accepted by judge Irena Gjoka.

Prosecutor Klodian Braho:  There is no medical report for the absent expert and his health condition does not prevent him from being in the session. The expert will be called to court and give his opinion. Experts also receive new questions and formulate a single document. Let us also have a copy of the questions so that we are prepared in the session. Experts take the necessary time.

Henrik Ligori:  The presence of the 5th expert is necessary, everyone is needed to answer. To take the necessary time to realize everyone's answer.

In the last session, which was held on July 10, there were debates in the hall about the nature of the questions from Fatmir Mediu's lawyer. Ardian Visha argued with judge Irena Gjoka about putting pressure on the experts and the judge ordered him out of the room.

Regarding this judicial process, the former Minister of Defense Fatmir Mediu says that he has not committed any legal violation and demands that the truth be revealed.
