Albania through photos/ Damage and flooding from storm "Ciaran"

The storm "Ciaran" has hit most of Europe and touched our country at noon on November 3, where there were heavy rains, thunderstorms, strong winds and floods. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but only material damage. 

The same situation with wind storms accompanied by rainstorms and thunderstorms is expected to continue today, according to the announcement given by the Military Meteorological Service (SHMU) for our country. 

"For the weekend ahead, our country will be affected by mainly unstable atmospheric conditions as a result of the periphery of a strong storm that has not only covered our country but also a large part of Europe. In this way, for Saturday from the first 24-hour hours until noon, the weather is predicted with dense clouds and continuous rain and low and mostly moderate intensity in the form of thunderstorms", SHMU announced.

Meanwhile, there is also a decrease in temperatures, which will fluctuate during the weekend from 5 to 20 degrees.

The State Police has gone on alert throughout the country to manage the situation while identifying the areas with the highest risk: Tirana, Lezha, Fushë Krujë, Durrës and Elbasan./ CNA
