"Justice in our country is like a ship without a compass"/ Gjokutaj:

Lawyer Genc Gjokutaj says that justice today is a ship without a compass. According to him, this institution was captured by the police and the majority.

"From the double system we have advanced to the triple or quadruple system. Justice today is a ship without a compass precisely because of the capture by the police and the majority. All the European newspapers say what the Kathimerini newspaper says. This is what worries and not the Albanian beaches that have amazed the world. Apart from the state propaganda, we couldn't turn on the TV all the time because we saw what we couldn't see if we stuck our heads out the window," said the lawyer. 

Regarding the arrest of the candidate who won the elections in Himare municipality, he said that it is a moment where scruples begin.

"The deadlines are such that the cases must be investigated with priority. Time should not be wasted, work should be done every working day to resolve the matter. But what really happened? The mayor of Himara is politically arrested and right there a resort or a land taken by an oligarch connected to politics, that's where the misunderstanding begins," said Gjokutaj.

For lawyer Gjokutaj, Beleri does not represent any social danger.

"Beleri does not present any social danger. It is mandated by the people. He should have done the swearing-in procedure for him to form the management staff of the municipality and of course he could remain indifferent until the period that he would clarify the problems with justice. The ill-wishers want to personalize the procedure and say Beleri did this, Beleri did that. In fact, we are not talking about the person, Alfred Beler, here we are talking about a popular mandate for the voters' mandate that this majority uses as toilet paper.
