The explosion in Lushnjë/Balla: Bujar Çela is being sent to Trauma

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, spoke to the media from Lushnja, where an explosion took the life of one person and injured 8 others, including MP Bujar Çela.

Balla said that the MP has gone to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where two other injured people are receiving care.

He announced that Çela's wound has been isolated. As for the victim, the minister said that he is the person who was driving the crane and who accidentally touched the high voltage wires.

"In the industrial area of ??Lushnja, near a warehouse complex, an explosion is suspected to have occurred, probably caused by contact with a high-voltage line that then discharged the current and caused the explosion of an excavator, whose driver immediately lost his life. Another person who was nearby, suspected to be the victim's son, was seriously injured.

Bujar Çela received a wound due to the explosion, and I can say that the wound was managed to be isolated and the MP went for a more specialized treatment near the Trauma hospital. In total, there are 3 injured who are close to Trauma", said Balla.
