Journalist Sokol Bregu, invited to the show "The Unexposed", spoke about the explosion that occurred on Sunday morning at Endri Meksi's business, in the Xhamlliku area.
Bregu said it was a very sophisticated crime, as the explosives were placed 6 hours before they were supposed to go off. He further said that the person who placed the explosives was masked after being caught on camera, and was assisted by other people.
Bregu describes the placement of the explosive as a message, as the amount was calculated to not cause extraordinary damage. The journalist said that this case should be viewed with priority as it is a threat to a television owner.
" We must say that the crime belongs to a group that is part of organized crime. It was very sophisticated. The explosive material on the terrace of the store was placed 6 hours before it exploded, it was time-tested. It was placed at 22:00 on Saturday evening, it exploded at 04:30 in the morning. The person who placed it was helped. He placed it disguised, the cameras caught him, but he is disguised. From the way I see it, it was not intended to harm the residents of the building, despite the fact that it caused damage to this commercial object, and to the windows of another entity. It was calculated not to cause extraordinary damage to people. It is sending a message. Organized crime sends 60-70 messages every year, this is taken from a statistic of criminal proceedings. One of them, of course, came to the MCN gate. I would not be tempted to I was talking about what the motives are. I understand that it has not been decided that it is the property of Meksi who sells internet, but of Endri Meksi who has a television. I think that the police have taken it more seriously this time. The prosecution has the file there, it is the main cause that we got here. The prosecution can claim that it has many files, but there is an order from the prosecutor general that threats against the media are given priority. To find out if this is personal to Mr. Meksi, or if this is related to Mr. Meksi as the owner of this television , "said Bregu.
Also on the show "The Unexposed" about the incident in Endri Meksi's business, journalist Artan Hoxha spoke, saying that within a period of about a month, businessman Meksi was subjected to a series of attacks.
Hoxha said that the prosecution and the police must react to the events against Meks and say what is happening. The journalist further appealed to prevent these warnings, which according to him, it is known which way they are going.
If there is no reaction, said Hoxha, then the television owner should be told to stand up for himself and protect himself with private companies or gangsters.
" Just one element is enough, within a period of a month and a half, a series of episodes have occurred. Finally, there is a reaction, what is happening? We are dealing with a businessman who has declared himself, the police to get rid of the rest, to tell you what is happening. What is the prosecution doing? We are dealing with the owner of a media outlet, an owner of several businesses who has specific businesses in several fields. How is it possible that there is no reaction?
I pass by the street where the explosives were placed every day. The echo of that, when the explosion occurred, was terrible. The fact that they do it without fear, at first they come to the door of the television, now this, we are heading towards a known situation with a problematic balance. We must prevent something that seems to be the path we are heading. In the specific case, if you do not react, tell the owner of the television, stand up for yourself, hire private companies or gangsters and no one will come close. But we know the balances of the gangsters. They are not reacting any more when we are dealing with the media , "said Hoxha.
