Actor Mehdi Malkaj commented today on the "show" at the trial of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, at the Administrative Court, where several actors appeared hugging him. Among them was the well-known actor Robert Ndrenika.

In an interview for "Kafe Shqeto" on Syri TV, Malkaj praised Robert Ndrenika as a great artist, but according to him, he "became dirty" since he left the theater cause.

"Ndrenika is an actor, a great mountain. But Ndrenika is also a man who became dirty since he left the cause of the theater. When he left, a group of people also left.  This is taken as if we, who were against the demolition, are also against the new theater. I am 1000 times more in favor than the mayor himself, I have already told him. It was the muse and love of the entire Albanian people, the national theater.  They continue to say what I have said for a long time. Communism is at a standstill here.
