Rain in the Kukës Region/ Falling rocks and debris in some segments

The Kukes region is facing difficult weather conditions as a result of heavy rainfall. During the early hours of this Tuesday morning, rocks and debris were recorded falling on several segments of national road axes, causing temporary traffic problems.

Contractors have been on site at all times for road cleaning and maintenance. Thanks to immediate interventions, all national road axes are currently passable.

The electricity supply in the Kukës Region is operating normally, with the exception of 16 subscribers in the Administrative Unit of Old Tropojë, Municipality of Tropojë, where the power outage still continues.

Meanwhile, the supply of drinking water is carried out according to the schedules set by the Kukës Regional Directorate of Water Supply and Sewerage. /CNA
