Fire again in the waste field in Vlora/Dredha: Municipality files criminal

The Mayor of Vlora, Ermal Dredha, wrote in a post on social media that a fire has engulfed the waste field again, but it is not known whether it was intentional arson or irresponsibility.

Dredha writes that the institution he heads has filed a criminal complaint against all the parties involved to ensure that something like this does not happen again. Dredha further writes that immediate measures were taken to extinguish the fire.

 

" As a result of a repeated and intolerable circumstance of deliberate arson or human irresponsibility, in the field of waste, the municipality, in cooperation with the State Police, has filed criminal charges against all the links that must monitor and ensure that such events do not occur again, including the institutions that depend on the municipality. Law enforcement bodies have been put into action to punish anyone who tries to damage the image of the city at the start of the tourist season.

However, immediate measures have been taken to extinguish the fire and prevent a repeat of this ugly event ," writes Dredha./ CNA
