The session for the "Gërdeci" case continues in the Special Court. It is reported that so far 5 people have testified, among them was Fejzi Shehu, who served as a substitute guard at the weapons dismantling factory.

He told the jury the moments when the explosion happened.

The Special Prosecutor's Office has requested that 71 witnesses be called to be questioned by the court regarding the "Gërdeci" case.

CNA provided a list of the names of witnesses that SPAK has requested to be called by the court, among them are the names of former minister Aldo Bumçi and the son of former prime minister Sali Berisha, Shkëlzen Berisha.

Shehu's full testimony: 

I was a guard at the main gate of the dismantling factory where the workers entered and the trucks left. On the day of the explosion, I was at work, at the main gate, and a relative of a person came to me asking to give him food.

I took the bag and went inside to the second gate, there I saw the flame from a cart and people started shouting because of the gunpowder the flame spread rapidly. I couldn't get the food inside and ran away.

Afterwards, I learned there that handcart welding was done. I saw Qemal Deliu, who went out two or three times that day with the permission of the person in charge. I learned his name later, because I didn't know it as a name. /CNA
