The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has reacted via the European Parliament resolution regarding the enlargement process.
In his reaction, Balla states that the resolution evaluates Albania's progress in the negotiation process and recognizes the ambition to conclude them by the end of 2027.
Among other things, Balla says that the European Parliament's call to EU institutions, especially the Council, to remove obstacles and increase the credibility of the enlargement process is encouraging.
"I welcome the adoption today by the European Parliament of the Resolution on the European Union Enlargement Strategy with 385 votes in favor.
The resolution evaluates Albania's progress in the negotiation process and recognizes the ambition to conclude them by the end of 2027.
"The European Parliament's call to the EU institutions, especially the Council, to remove obstacles and increase the credibility of the enlargement process is encouraging," Balla's response reads. /CNA
