Why is there an attempt to minimize the volume of Veliaj's file?

The arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, since his arrest, launched a campaign of attacks against the prosecutors and judges handling his case.

Despite all kinds of insults, threats, and blackmail, Erion Veliaj, even after a year in Durrës prison, has not stopped his schemes.

From the moment SPAK closed the investigations until today, Erion Veliaj continues to use 1001 machinations, tactics to delay the court proceedings, simply because he is a coward who will not face justice and the evidence and facts that SPAK and the prosecutors have put before the court.

A voluminous dossier, tens of thousands of pages, documenting the accusations against the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Why is there an attempt to minimize the volume of Veliaj's file?

Recently, it is circulating in the media that Veliaj has been handed 28,000 pages of his file in Durrës prison.

The truth is, it's not 28 thousand pages, but a full 61 thousand pages that support the file containing 500 pages of accusations.

SPAK has closed the investigations into Veliaj, officially indicted him, and submitted to the court the file containing 500 pages of charges, accompanied by a very voluminous supporting documentation of 61,000 pages.

Their submission to the court was made in July of last year. The file details the 13 charges and 5 serious offenses committed by Erion Veliaj, for which he was arrested and is in Durrës prison. 

For 8 months now, the 61,000-page file has been submitted to the court, while Erion Veliaj continues to postpone the court proceedings, while continuing to attack prosecutors and judges with reports to the US Department of Justice, as well as with broadcasts to the media that serve him from the Durrës prison, which have also appeared in the wiretaps published by CNA, or recently with mercenaries and unverified soldiers like Sokol Sadushi who is using the High Court as an instrument or as the chimney of his house to pave the way for Erion Veliaj.

The truth is one, there are 61 thousand pages sent to court that document the 13 charges and serious criminal offenses committed by the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj./ CNA
