Rama's reactions to SPAK/Koka: Rama is only concerned about his own plight

Journalist Bledian Koka, invited to a television show, called the protest of the municipality employees and others a great shame. According to him, Rama is willing to do more than that for power.

Koka emphasized that Rama's attacks on SPAK are about his personal problems, not Erion Veliaj's.

Koka said that what happened yesterday in front of the GJKKO is a super performance by a man who is willing to do much more than that for power.

"I have the impression that the plan was ruined after Mr. Berisha declared that Rama could most likely go to visit Mr. Veliaj in Durrës detention center.

And it may be a little strange because it is difficult for anyone now, except for Mr. Veliaj's close family members, to meet him, but in a country where the Prime Minister has decided to become mayor suddenly and outside of any legal norms, decentralization, power, etc., etc., where all of these have fallen.

Of course something happened. It happened in Mr. Rama's articulation and it happened and in that it seems as if we are talking about two different people. For Edi Rama today, for Edi Rama yesterday, and for Edi Rama the day before yesterday. From a man who threatened SPAK, telling him not to come and take my phone, that you have become a republic of prosecutors, that SPAK has gone off the constitutional rails, he even made a reply with BIRN. Birn had made a headline 'Rama: SPAK goes off the rails...'. In fact, the statement was more serious. In the response he had sent back to BIRN, he said that it had gone off the constitutional rails.

And a prime minister who tells Albanians that I have built an independent justice system, until the day they arrested the opposition leader and the moment he goes and takes one of the most important people in his power, he discovers that SPAK is not the institution he thinks it is, but that it is an institution that has gone off the rails of the justice institution. Yesterday and the day before yesterday we saw a prime minister who, no more than about the troubles of Erion Veliaj, seemed to be talking about his own personal troubles.

This is just an interpretation, it remains to be seen whether or not there are any other personal concerns. Because I personally think that Mr. Rama is only concerned about his own personal concerns and no one else's concerns.

What happened today? This seems like a kind of response, especially that Veliaj has to face his own lawyers. It seems like a response or a reaction to what happened yesterday, which was the presence of almost 1,000 or so municipality employees in front of SPAK. If you read it carefully because yesterday was in another dimension, it in itself seemed like a soft uprising of the Tirana municipality and mainly conceived and led by Erion Veliaj's closest people. It seemed quite good that it was something that was stifling, despite the desire of the SP to react.

Realistically, this is a clash of mafias. Because if opposition supporters protest in front of SPAK, we can justify it. If the leaders of an institution stand up and protest in front of an independent institution during working hours, with an unprecedented demonstration because those people have been there for 14 hours with Elena Kadare at the head, which was a great shame.

Yesterday there was a great performance by a man who, as we have said, is willing to do much more than that for power. Things that we cannot imagine. And what happened yesterday with Veliaj's people was a manifestation of this.

"Yesterday, Erion Veliaj made several moves. He attempted what could be called 'a soft coup d'état, within the state'. On the other hand, it happened that with a stroke of a pen, he destroyed and blew up the propaganda narrative of how it works in the majority," said Koka. /CNA
