The government approved the merger/ Reagon ASA and the Academy of Sciences

Today the government decided to reorganize ASA by transferring everything to the Academy of Sciences, starting from autonomous units to assets and personnel.

After this decision came the reaction of the Academy of Sciences, which welcomes the VKM approved by the government, saying that this decision gives both institutions the opportunity and responsibility for the development of Albanian sciences at a new level.

"This decision expresses the increased interest and commitment of the government to increase and evidence funding and investments for scientific research, as it is doing with the support for three major projects in Albanianology and for the establishment of new research-scientific units with national impact" , - is said, among others, in response.

On the other hand, the ASA calls this a political decision and opposes it, saying it attacks science.
