ASA/Kushi merger: Everything will be transferred to the Academy of Sciences

The Minister of Education, Evis Kushi, after the meeting of the government, announced that the decision was made to transfer all institutes as autonomous units to the Academy of Sciences.

She stated that countless violations have been committed by ASA and numerous problems have been found.

"By decision, we are reorganizing the academy by placing the institutes as autonomous units near the Academy of Sciences. It guarantees the transfer of rights, assets, personnel, all of them are transferred to the Academy of Sciences", emphasized Kushi.

"Serious legal violations have been found on the part of the organization and the administrative and financial function. I can mention some of these problems which are the most essential.

ASA has not had a faculty, which is the first legal obligation. None of its constituent units has teaching.

It is unaccredited both from the institutional side and the side of the study programs.

Non-accreditation makes it impossible not only to be an institution but also to issue diplomas.

No student registers for 8 years.

We have a decision that has been in the works for months where countless violations have been identified.
