The deputy of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, reacted to the decision of the deputies of the Socialist Party to hold an online meeting after the opposition deputies blocked the work of the Assembly today.

He says that according to the regulation, such a thing can only happen in cases of extraordinary measures that can be imposed due to a state of war, a state of emergency or a state of natural disasters.

"After the opposition MPs blocked the works of the Assembly today, the SP MPs have announced the postponement of the meeting and its online development. According to article a/5 of the Rules of the Assembly, only in cases of extraordinary measures that can be imposed due to the state of war, the state of emergency or the state of natural disasters, the meetings of the plenary session and the bodies of the Assembly can be held remotely through means of electronic communication. It is not known whether the SP has declared a state of war or a state of emergency, but this procedure of online meetings is only allowed in those cases," said Bardhi./ CNA
