Protest at the Kombinat market/Tirana Municipality, attack on traders

The traders of the Kombinat have faced an attack from the Municipality of Tirana, which according to them aims to remove them from the spaces where they have been trading fruits and vegetables for years.

The merchants have reacted by protesting this injustice being done to them by the Municipality of Tirana, which after many years seeks to remove the merchants from their workplace.

The traders accuse the Municipality of indifference, saying that they have been working in these spaces without interference for years.

They say that the Municipality is acting unexpectedly and without offering fair alternatives to them.

"We have been working here for years and no one has bothered us. Now they are leaving us without any opportunity to feed our families," said one of the traders. / CNA
