DP protest/Prime Minister's office is being barricaded

A few hours before the start of the DP protest, which will be held at 5:00 PM, preparations have begun to armor the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister's Office building is armored with metal cladding.

Megaphones have also been placed on poles near the Prime Minister's Office.

Meanwhile, the State Police has previously undertaken all measures to guarantee public order, enforce the rights and freedoms of citizens and participants in gatherings, as well as protect public and private property.

In implementation of these measures, in order to guarantee the smooth running of the rally, movement will be restricted on several road axes/segments today, specifically:

-From 10:00, vehicles will not be allowed to park on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, on "Mother Teresa" Square, on "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rrugova" street, on "Papa Gjon Pali II" street, on "Jeanne D'Ark" boulevard and "Bajram Curri" boulevard, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street; 

-From 2:00 PM until the end of the rally, there will be a traffic jam on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, from the intersection near the Ministry of Interior to "Mother Teresa" Square, as well as on "Ukraine e Lirë", "Papa John Paul II" and "Ismail Qemali" streets.

Depending on the development of the rally, there may be restrictions on vehicle traffic on other road axes./ CNA
