Scandal at RTSH/ Two members of the Board of Directors resign

Following legal violations with the procedures for electing the new director of RTSH, CNA learns that two members of the Steering Council, Gëzim Podgorica and Genc Përmeti, have resigned.

This decision comes a few days after the hearing at the Media Commission, which also included the chairman of the Council, Leka Bungo, who admitted the violations committed in relation to the procedures for electing the new director of RTSH.

The committee discussed the CNA complaints that have been sent to the Assembly for verification.

It concerns denunciations with facts and documents that Leka Bungo has received money from the institution's funds for a show. For the fact that he has violated the statute and the law on incompatibility and conflict of interest.

He also denounced how Leka Bungo lied to the Parliament by saying that for a period of 2 and a half years he had not done any work.

CNA also showed how Leka Bungo forged the signature in connection with the January 6 meeting.

Immediately after the meeting on January 6, CNA obtained documents through official channels.

Bungo left the meeting, there is also an audio recording that he was upset, there was also a conflict with the members of the Steering Committee, who voted and opened the race with a majority vote, Leka Bungo left and normally had nothing to sign, but it turns out that he has already signed the document opening the race even though he was not present and against it.

The same document was published once unsigned by Bungo, once signed by him, and another time it was written missing.

The facts and documents speak for themselves and these continue and deepen the ongoing scandals in the RTSH Steering Council and its head, Leka Bungo./ CNA
