"New Year's Eve Celebrations Around the World"/ Activity at

"New Year's Eve Celebrations Around the World" is the project that was beautifully realized today in Maliq, where students and children with disabilities came together to have fun and celebrate with each other.

The activity took place in the premises of "Rozafa Fish City", under the special care of businessman Gjergj Luca and with the support of journalist Elvi Fundo, who, through their help, enabled these students and children to spend a few festive hours.

The collaboration between the 9-year "Agimi" school and the city's Community Center for children with disabilities resulted in a wonderful collaboration, starting with the daily program, which included games between them, recitations, singing, as well as a delicious lunch with seafood.

Albana Dudo, assistant teacher at the 9-year "Agimi" school in Maliq, as the initiator of this project, has emotionally told "CNA TV" about this day's program and its participants.

"Today's activity was within the framework of the project "New Year's Celebrations Around the World", where today we finalized it with the Chinese New Year. Participants in the activity were seventh grade students of the 9-year "Agimi" Maliq school, in cooperation and by invitation also the children of the Maliq Community Center.

"This activity took place in the Rozafa Bar Restaurant, where all the children had fun, recited, sang, celebrated, ate healthy and delicious food and also received gifts," said Albana.

This activity aims to create the possibility of cooperation between students and children with disabilities, as the best example of connection, solidarity and reflection of these values. Among other things, Albana gives a strong message by emphasizing the great importance of these types of activities for children, saying that if we want, we can achieve any goal in life.

"The ultimate goal of this activity is that we can. If we want, we can achieve anything. If we cooperate, all components, all actors to do something good and in the service of all children, all classes, all people who can or cannot, then everything is realized and achieved with a final goal.

"These activities are very important and I am a partisan of these activities. I always want to touch everything and do it in real time with real possibilities. Not just written and put on paper, that's why the purpose of this activity was that if we want, everything can be achieved and made possible. If we don't want, we can stay in the shadows like everyone else, but unity makes power," said Albana.

Alongside the parents and teachers of the 9-year school and the Community Center for Children with Disabilities, the mayor of Maliq, Gëzim Topçiu, also took part in the activity.

In his speech to "CNA TV", Topçiu thanked businessman Gjergj Luca and journalist Elvi Fundo for becoming part of this important project, while expressing that the institution he leads has not only a legal but also a human obligation to support these children.

"This activity carried out today by Rozafa is very special and I am definitely glad that the well-known journalist Elvi Fundo has become part of an important project for children with disabilities in Maliq.

"The seventh grade, which includes children with problems, the Maliqi Community Center, parents, teachers, united in this environment to give very strong and very important messages that this project must continue even further. They are part of our communities and we have not only a legal but also a human obligation to support them case by case," said Topçiu.

"New Year's Eve Celebrations Around the World" is the project that gave everyone a valuable message today. Such meetings are an example of cooperation between students and children with disabilities, who must always be equal and supported at every moment by parents, teachers and the entire community where they live.

This will not be the only activity organized in Maliq, but there will be other ongoing projects focusing on children with disabilities and their inclusion in society. /CNA
