21st Protest/ Immigrant on Rama's statements: We come in expensive cars

Protests have been ongoing in front of the Prime Minister's Office for almost two hours, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The diaspora has also become part of today's rally, with thousands of emigrants coming to Tirana to protest.

Some of them have also given speeches to the protesters. An immigrant coming from London has also commented on Rama's statements about their participation in the protest.

"Today Rama mocked us by saying that we are coming in luxury cars. Yes, Mr. Prime Minister, you are a thief of the nation. We left on a raft and are coming in expensive cars because our hands are calloused ," said the immigrant.

One of the citizens has called for Rama to leave within 24 hours and for a caretaker government to be established for 12 months.

"You radiate hope, change, revolution... In all the protests we have held in London, we have demanded resignation. This is a civic movement for democratizing reforms. From Britain, we demand Rama's resignation and a technical government for 12 months, to guarantee changes to the Electoral Code and open lists. I challenge Rama: resign by June 21 ," said the citizen.

Another coming from Germany said he was disappointed by the Socialist Party, which he said he had voted for.

"I come from Germany. We have two days to travel here and tell this prime minister that you have not taken the prime ministership. I was his supporter, I apologize to the people of Pukjan that I gave 7 thousand for this party and none of us are representatives. They are scoundrels, criminals, scoundrels, the biggest thieves. I am disappointed. Down with the dictatorship",  said the immigrant. /CNA
