The Presidency has requested about 490 million ALL more in the next year's budget.

Their main concern is the reconstruction of the building.

Florian Kali, the general secretary of the Presidency, complained about the humidity on the first floor of the institution. He also requested an increase in expenses for the President's activity, which is 50 million ALL.

"We need the reconstruction of the building. The last reconstruction was done 14 years ago, the first floor is filled with moisture. We need the painting of the building inside and outside as well as the return of the building to the safety parameters of class A. All this costs about 400 million Lek. Institution salaries are not where they should be in the pyramid hierarchy of institution salaries. We have estimated an extra in the structure for 10 people. These changes require an additional 36 million ALL. We also want an increase in spending for 50 million ALL for the President's activities. The total cost of all will be 490 million ALL. We hope that this commission will support us in our requests," said Florian Kali, the general secretary of the Presidency. /CNA.al
