The State Police has published the figures regarding the number of police operations carried out during the month of October 2023.

It should be noted that in total there are 104 operations completed throughout the country that hit criminal activities in various fields.

4 of the operations were developed as a result of cooperation and coordination of information with international partners.

587 citizens were arrested, 56 of whom are wanted nationally and 11 are wanted internationally.

557 kilograms of cannabis, doses of cocaine and cannabis, electrical equipment for cultivating narcotic plants, 27 firearms, 9 shotguns, military ammunition, sports weapons, cold weapons, other illegal items, dozens of vehicles and mobile phones, goods of smuggled with a value of almost 150,000 euros, about 15,000 euros profited from criminal activities and about 230,000 euros undeclared at border crossing points.

?Also, a preventive seizure has been placed on 16 objects built without permission, in Ksamil, and on various assets in Durrës, Tirana and Elbasan, with a total value of over 3 million euros.

The coded police operation "Attempt", carried out in Durrës, prevented the commission of a murder by a citizen with a significant criminal record.

As a result of the immediate intervention of the Police services, 3 criminal events in the field of crimes against the person and the escalation of 3 immediate conflicts were prevented.

In the field of narcotics:

A total of 44 operations were carried out. As a result of them and the cases struck in this field, a total of 557 kilograms of cannabis, more than half a kilogram of cocaine, thousands of doses of these substances, cannabis seeds and dozens of equipment used for the cultivation of narcotic plants, were seized in premises of closed.

The coded police operation "Amid", developed by DVP Vlorë, in cooperation with DVP Fier, discovered a warehouse adapted for drying narcotic plants. The police destroyed 4,930 cannabis plants cultivated in a plot of corn, seized 198 kg of cannabis in the drying process, 2 firearms and military ammunition. 3 citizens were put in handcuffs, 4 others were put under investigation.

5 operations in this field revealed 5 other facilities adapted for drying narcotic plants, in Krujë, Shkodër, Berat and Fier. In these premises, the Police found and seized about 82 cannabis in the drying process and 1 automatic firearm.

Operacioni policor i koduar “Prioriteti”, në Lezhë, çoi në pranga 4 shtetas dhe në ndjekje penale 2 të tjerë, pasi në banesat e tyre, Policia gjeti 158 kg kanabis, një pjesë e gatshme për shitje dhe një pjesë në proces tharjeje. Gjatë operacionit u asgjësuan 280 bimë narkotike që ishin kultivuar në një fshat, si dhe u sekuestruan 14 000 euro të dyshuara të përfituara nga veprimtaritë kriminale të këtyre shtetasve.

Në Shkodër dhe në Krujë, Policia evidentoi dhe goditi 2 raste të kultivimit të bimëve narkotike, në ambiente të mbyllura, me anë të llambave dhe pajisjeve të tjera elektrike. Operacionet e koduara “Trushi” dhe “Marikaj 2”, asgjësuan 1158 bimë dhe 907 fidanë kanabis që ishin kultivuar në këto ambiente, sekuestruan pajisjet elektrike që shërbenin për rritjen e tyre dhe 1 armë zjarri.

Në Kapshticë, u godit një rast i tentativës për të trafikuar lëndë narkotike drejt Greqisë. Policia sekuestroi 9.3 kg kanabis dhe vuri në pranga poseduesin e saj.

Këtë muaj, megaoperacioni policor mbarëkombëtar i koduar “Tempulli” goditi 26 raste të shitjes së lëndëve narkotike, në afërsi të shkollave dhe në ambiente që frekuentohen nga nxënësit dhe të rinjtë, në të gjithë territorin e vendit. Policia vuri në pranga 34 autorët e këtyre rasteve dhe sekuestroi sasitë e kanabisit dhe kokainës që ata kishin ndarë në doza, për t’i shitur.

Gjithashtu, në pranga u vunë 9 shtetas që ishin shpallur në kërkim më parë, në kuadër të këtij operacioni.

Në zbatim të masave të ndërmarra në kuadër të Paketës për Sigurinë në shkolla:

Shërbimet e Policisë kanë monitoruar vazhdimisht perimetrin e sigurisë dhe kanë ushtruar kontrolle në subjektet që frekuentohen nga nxënësit. Si rezultat i kontrolleve u goditën 4 raste të shitjes së produkteve të rrezikshme për shëndetin.

27 armë zjarri, 9 armë gjahu, municion luftarak, armë sportive, dhjetëra armë të ftohta të llojeve të ndryshme dhe sende të tjera të kundërligjshme, u sekuestruan si rezultat i 8 operacioneve për goditjen e veprimtarisë kriminale në fushën e mbajtjes pa leje të armëve.

Operacioni policor i koduar “Baza” çoi në pranga një shtetas që kishte përshtatur banesën e tij, në Durrës, për të riparuar dhe tregtuar armë zjarri, fishekë dhe sende të tjera, që do të përdoreshin nga grupet kriminale. Në këtë banesë, Policia gjeti dhe sekuestroi 1 armë zjarri me silenciator, skelete armësh, municion luftarak dhe sende të kundërligjshme.

Policia Kufitare e Kapshticës goditi një rast të tentativës për të trafikuar 4 armë zjarri dhe municion luftarak, drejt Greqisë. Policia arrestoi drejtuesin e automjetit ku u gjetën armët dhe bashkëpunëtorin e tij.

1 rast i tentativës për të trafikuar armë zjarri në Shqipëri, u godit nga Policia Kufitare e Morinës. Në pranga u vu drejtuesi i automjetit ku u gjetën 1 armë zjarri pistoletë, municion luftarak, armë të ftohta dhe sende të kundërligjshme.

12 operacione goditën veprimtaritë kriminale në fushën e krimeve ekonomiko-financiare.

As a result, medical medications worth 50,000 euros and various goods/products worth about 100,000 euros, which were traded illegally, were seized.

Also, within the framework of 4 operations in this field, preventive seizure was imposed on 16 objects built without permission, in Ksamil, and on various assets in Durrës, Tirana and Elbasan, worth over 3 million euros.

The Border Police of Durrës prevented a case of bringing money from criminal activities into Albania. The fifth phase of the police operation coded "Flux" led to the arrest of the 2 bus drivers where around 176,200 euros and smuggled goods were found.

10 operations revealed thefts in apartments and in various subjects, half of them committed with violence. The police seized sums of money and valuables stolen from these premises.

4 operations were finalized against the transportation of immigrants, against payment, to illegally cross the border, destined for EU countries.

The coded operation "Phases" led to the arrest of 9 citizens who carried out this criminal activity, in the form of a criminal group. During the operation, in Durrës, the Police seized 7 vehicles that were used to transport immigrants and significant amounts of money benefited from this criminal activity.

9 citizens wanted internationally for various criminal offenses were put in handcuffs in Albania, as a result of the coordination of the work and the exchange of information with the partner police. 3 of them were caught by FAST Albania, during operations in Vlorë, Shkodër and Laç.

Controls in the territory hit 95 cases of various crimes against the environment.

We highlight here the cases of fishing with electric mechanisms, which were struck in Shkodër, and the cases of water pollution of the Gjanica River, in Fier.

The Road Police Services, equipped with modern logistics, have been present during this month, in all axes of the country, with the aim of preventing road accidents and facilitating the movement of road users.

233 drivers were arrested, of which 138 for driving while intoxicated, and 95 for driving without a driving license.

533 driving licenses were suspended, of which 343 for exceeding speed limits, 90 for driving while intoxicated and 100 for other violations of the Highway Code, for which this punitive measure is provided.

The Border Police Services have found and dealt with: 43 cases of illegal border crossing, 8 cases of providing assistance for illegal border crossing, 18 cases of using false documents, 3 cases of smuggling of various goods, 9 cases of motor vehicle trafficking and 8 cases of non-declaration of money./ CNA
