The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has provided details on the decision to suspend the President of the Order of Dentists, Nikolla Deda.

From the investigation into the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", there is a reasonable suspicion that Deda has committed this criminal offence.

The investigation received clues from the report of the citizen AG on January 18 for financial abuses and manipulations with the decision-making of the National Council dating back to 2016.

The complainant stated that even though by the decision of the Administrative Court on 07.02.2020 it was decided to secure the lawsuit for decisions No. 16 and 18, dated 07.11.2019, Nikolla Deda, in the capacity of the President of the Order of Dentists, continued in such a way illegal with the meeting of the National Council and the Assembly, where he made questionable decisions of a financial nature, as well as employed family members of members of the National Council and his own family.

According to him, on 21.09.2020 it was decided to purchase a building, in accordance with the Order of the Dentist, with an area of ??350 m2, in the value of 700,000 euros. As long as there is a 2020 lawsuit insurance decision, the US National Council should not make such decisions with such a high economic impact.

Also, the National Council has approved obtaining a loan from a bank in the amount of 250,000 euros for the purpose of "purchasing premises", for which the decision was taken by the President of the Republic of Moldova.

From the investigations, it turned out that with his actions/inactions, Deda has created a "climate of private ownership" by concentrating in his hands the functions of the regional councils, either in terms of administering the budget of the order of dentists at the district level, or in terms of equipment with license of dentists for individual practice of profession.

Moreover, the employment of his sons' fiancees in the Order of Dentists, or the children of members of the National Council are simply indicators of the personalization of the "Order of Dentists" by the ND citizen, creating a climate of private possession of this public entity. Despite the fact that he was taken as a defendant and is currently in court proceedings accused of Article 320 of the Criminal Code, in another criminal proceeding, he has taken active actions in abuse of office for further concentration of powers in his hands by using the structures of the USSH -s./ CNA
