The increased checks on all road axes continue, for the identification and punishment of violators of traffic rules who are a potential risk for involvement in road events, as well as for the increase of road safety parameters in the capital.

24 citizens were arrested and prosecuted for driving while intoxicated, without a driving license, and for violating traffic rules.

During the past week, 8,750 administrative measures have been imposed.

120 administrative measures have been imposed for tinted windows.

278 administrative measures have been imposed for speeding over the allowed rates.

702 vehicle drivers were punished with administrative measures for using mobile phones while driving.

596 administrative measures have been imposed for the use of mobile devices while driving.

222 drivers were punished for not giving priority to pedestrians, on white lines.

2191 drivers were punished for not wearing a seat belt.

210 administrative measures have been imposed for failure to wear protective helmets by motor vehicle drivers.

252 administrative measures have been imposed for wrong passing.

19 vehicles were blocked.
