The police, with an "iron hand"/ 27 drivers are arrested, thousands

During the week, the police arrested 27 vehicle drivers for driving while intoxicated or without a driving license. Meanwhile, 123 patents have been suspended. 

Notification:

During this week, throughout the country, the Traffic Police services have intensified monitoring measures, using Poliscan intelligent tools, automatic radars and all the logistical base at their disposal.

???? As a result of the monitoring, 27 drivers were identified and arrested throughout the country, for driving while intoxicated or without a driving license;

???? 123 driving licenses were suspended, mainly for speeding over the permitted rates and for driving under the influence of alcohol;

????A total of 18,719 vehicle and motor vehicle drivers have been identified and punished for various violations, including:

???? 1227 vehicle drivers who used mobile phones while driving;

???? 5,416 vehicle drivers who were speeding over the permitted rates, but without the additional measure of driving license suspension;

???? 1114 vehicle drivers, for not wearing a seat belt;

???? 10,495 vehicle drivers, for wrong parking;

???? 467 motor vehicle drivers, for not wearing a protective helmet.

The police appeal to all road users to strictly follow traffic rules, as all roads are monitored by smart vehicles and mobile patrols of the Road Police.

In order to increase road safety parameters, the State Police invites citizens to report any violation of road traffic rules to the toll-free number 112. /CNA
