The General Director of Road Transport Services, Blendi Gonxhe continues to clarify the increase in the license price.

He argues by saying that there is no price increase, but an increase in services and the elimination of upfront payments.

Invited to the "Bardh a Zi" show, Gonxhe reiterated that if citizens have paid less before, it means that they have not completed the full course program.

"The program has not been added or the price increased, it is the same program for years, mandatory for preparation for driving license according to categories.

We, as the General Director of Road Transport Services, are aware of the fact that the General Directorate of Taxes, together with interest groups, comes to the conclusion that a process for category B in terms of the course would cost 69,000 ALL, in theory and practice.

If the mandatory fiscal criteria were applied in 2018, 2015 or 2013, the course would cost 69,000 ALL. The price of the course and the program does not change.
