After the movements in the State Police / Minister Çuçi: We will

Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi said that next year there will be more investments in Technology in the State Police.

During his speech at the closing conference of the "Strengthening Community Policing" project funded by the Swedish government, he said that body cameras for the police will be restored.

In the following, he mentioned other achievements of the work of the State Police, especially through the use of advantages created by technology.

“Kemi kaluar nga patrulla policie që të ndalonin ndonjëherë edhe pa shkak, në përdorimin e radarëve automatikë dhe makinave inteligjente duke ulur kështu kontaktin e qytetarit me punonjësin e policisë që në shumë raste ishte edhe burim ryshfeti. Së shpejti do të kalojmë në njoftimin elektronik të menjëhershëm të qytetarit në rast shkeljeje dhe do të vijojmë investimet në teknologji e pajisje dixhitale për të rritur cilësisht punën e Policisë. Vetëm vitin e ardhshëm kemi parashikuar 7.6 herë më shumë investime në Teknologji në Policinë e Shtetit”, tha ministri Çuçi.

"Despite these achievements with the help of the Swedish program, we are in a constant effort to improve the work of the police, the qualitative increase of the service it offers to the public, a comprehensive implementation of the philosophy of community policing. Among our objectives is to extend the use of body cameras to police patrol officers. This will further increase transparency in our work during contacts with the public, increase the quality of service and highlight possible cases of abuse. We wish to give a further development to the Digital Commissariat, as a form that has proved successful for reporting violations by citizens", stated the Minister of the Interior. /CNA.al
