After resignation, Dredha sends a message to Prime Minister Rama

Ermal Dredha has today publicly announced his resignation from his position as mayor of Vlora.

Through a letter published on social media, Dredha writes that his resignation is an act of reflection and responsibility and a right action at these times.

In his resignation letter, Dredha also has a message for Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Dredha thanked him for the institutional cooperation, emphasizing that this decision does not change either the respect or the responsibility he feels towards the country and its citizens.

"Mr. Prime Minister,

Thank you for your institutional cooperation! This decision does not change either the respect or the responsibility I feel towards my country and our citizens.

"I thank you for every support you have given me and for every hope we have shared together. I remain committed to my community and will continue to contribute in other ways for the common good," writes Dredha./ CNA
