President Ilir Meta, through a reaction on social networks, writes that the consequences of the war in Ukraine have caused ripple effects around the globe in food supply.

According to the President, by 2023 we will really face a problem of food availability.

Meta says world leaders must do everything they can to bring markets to stability before things get worse, because global food prices will rise even more.

“Pasojat e luftës në Ukrainë kanë shkaktuar efekte valëzuese në mbarë globin në furnizimin me ushqime, sepse Ukraina dhe Rusia përbëjnë dy nga ‘shportat e bukës’ që furnizojnë botën me 30% të grurit dhe 20% të misrit.
