Mayor Erion Veliaj has declared that he is against the Territorial Reform. During an interview for the media, Veliaj said that the return of mini-municipalities would not be the right solution.

 "There is no reason to return to mini-municipalities, the road in Krabë, in Zall-bastar, could not be done, I do not believe that there is a person in the municipality who says to go out on their own", said the mayor Erion Veliaj.

Among other things, Veliaj said that the objective of the Socialist Party is to win all 5 municipalities of the district of Tirana, since according to Veliaj they have done a good job.
